basic grey DT call and Challenge

Poeh, alweer lang geleden zeg!
Ik ben steeds erg druk geweest met mijn werk en school, maar gelukkig eindelijk tijd voor mezelf!
Dus lekker aan de knutsel geweest, een kaartje gemaakt voor de basic grey challenge, die hebben deze keer ook weer een DT call.
Laten we hopen dat ik er bij zit:) ik heb het al vaker geprobeerd, maar helaas altijd zonder succes.
Ik ben gek op alles van basic grey. Mijn verzameling stempels, embellis en paperpads blijft maar groeien.

Even over het kaartje: ik heb in de achtergrond wat nieuws geprobeerd met mijn copic markers. Gezien in de nieuwste magnolia Ink. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie daarvan vinden!
verder natuurlijk heel veel bloemetjes gebruikt!

Long time no see!
I've been very busy with work and school... but finally there was some me-time!!
YES! So I took a change and made a card for the basic grey challenge, and decided to join the DTcall as well.
I've tried that before, but unfortunately I never succeeded...
But, I will try again, because I LOVE basic Grey!
I have at least 9 paperpads and my collection is still growing...

About the card... I tried something different with the background of my main image... wich I've made with my copic markers...
It's an idea wich I saw in the new magnolia Ink magazine...

Ofcourse I used a LOT of flowers... and there are also flowers on the design paper...

first lawnfawn challenge!

Ik heb 2 kaarten gemaakt om mee te doen met de lawnfawn challenge, ooooo ik zou het zo gaaf vinden om mijn kaartje in de catalogus en in hun kraam bij de CHA te zien...

De foto's zijn niet zo mooi maar dat is dankzij het slechte licht dankzij de sneeuw en helaas geen zon... maar volgens mij kun je wel aardig zien hoe ze in het echt zijn....

Voor het eerste kaartje heb ik veel stempels uit de set gebruikt... een bosje geknipt van de boomstempel en verder veel stickles gebruikt... de tekst heb ik met de computer gemaakt en geprint...

voor het tweede kaartje heb ik maar 2 stempels + een sentiment van diezelfde set gebruikt... heb geprobeerd om mijn eigen dp te maken met het kleine stempeltje, verder draait het eekhoorntje vrolijk in het rond doordat hij vast zit aan 2 muntjes...

ik hoop dat jullie ze leuk vinden en natuurlijk dat Kelly van LawnFawn ze nog leuker vind;)

The pictures aren't that great but that's thanks to bad lighting during the day because of all the snow and a lack of sun..... but I think you can get an idea of how the cards look!

The first one is made with a lot of stamps from the set called critters in the 'burbs.... I've cut a bush out of the treestamp and I draw and handcut the fence myself... I've also used a LOT of glitters....
The tag is made with a text wich I've printed with my computer, I thought it would be fun to tie it around the fence.... what do you think?

The second card is made with only 2 stamps from that same set... I've tried to create my own patterned paper with one stamp... and thought it would be fun to create a spinnercard with two coins... so the squirell spins around when you tilt the card.....
the sentiment is also a stamp from that same stampset....

I hope you'll like it and ofcourse I hope Kelly from LawnFawn likes it too;)

Dit kaartje heb ik gemaakt volgens de sketch van 2sketches4you, en omdat ik een magnolia stempel en een heleboel glitter heb gebruikt kan de kaart ook mee doen met de challenge van justmagnolia.

De randjes van de witte tag heb ik met stickles bewerkt, net zo als de vleugels van Tilda. Ik doe dat bijna altijd, net of die kleine schattige vleugeltjes er gewoon om vragen!

Ik heb de stempel ingekleurd met mijn copic markers en ik heb eindelijk mn nestabilities en cuttlebug weer eens gebruikt.

Ik ben best tevreden met het resultaat, maar ben erg benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden!

I've made this card according to the sketch over at 2sketches4you, I've used a magnolia image and lost of sparkle so it also joins the justmagnolia challenge.

De edges of the white tag are sparkly because of all the stickles... I've also put stickles on Tilda's wings... I always do that... those wings just ASK for some sparkle.

I've colored the image with my copic markers and I used my cuttlebug embossing folder and nestabilities wich I've both haven't used for a long time!

I'm very happy with the result, how about you?

Ik ben mijn inspiratie al een tijdje kwijt.... maar toen ik gisteravond een tijdje op het blog van Romy aan het rondneuzen was, kwam het ineens terug....
Nou ben ik altijd al gek op de stijl van Romy en dacht ineens: waarom probeer ik het niet een keertje?
Dus vanmorgen mn BoBunny papiertjes, edgedistresser en natuurlijk mn schaar en een heleboel stickles gepakt en lekker een kaartje gemaakt!

Romy, bedankt!:) Ga haar blog maar eens bekijken als je die nog niet kende... ze maakt echt prachtige dingen!

I've lost my inspiration a while ago and couldn't make any cards at all..... untill I spend a little time on Romy's blog......
I always loved her style and suddenly I thought: Why don't I give it a try.... and so I did!

This morning I grabbed my Bobunny papers, the edgedistresser and ofcourse my sissors and lots of stickles and made this card!

de moeilijkste kaartjes om te maken... ze mogen zeker niet te blij, maar ik wil ook geen hele saaie kaartjes sturen waar je zo mogelijk nog verdrietiger van wordt.... het is wel mijn bedoeling om de mensen een beetje op te beuren...

Ik hoop dat dat gelukt is met deze kaartjes... die helaas alle 4 al verstuurd zijn....

even een gewoon kaartje tussendoor!
Deze maakte ik al een tijdje geleden met mijn nieuwe stempelset en een oud paperpad van Basic Grey.
De pin heb ik op de rose achtergrond gestempeld en kleurloos geembost. Het envelopje, het notitieblaadje en de tekst komen uit dezelfde stempelset.
het kleine groene pinnetje is met glossy accents bewerkt. De envelop en het groene pinnetje zijn gepaperpieced uit basic grey papier.

This is a card I made a little while ago with a new stampset and an old paperpad from basic grey.
The pin is stamped and embossed on the pink paper. The envelope, little note, pin and the text are from the same stampset. The little green pin has A LOT of glossy accents on it.
I've paper pieced the little envelope and the green pin out of basic grey paper.

Dit jaar heb ik voor het eerst halloween-kaartjes gemaakt.
Ik heb wat nieuwe stempeltjes besteld van Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn en een digitale stempel van C.C. design en de halloween-papiercollectie van Echopark.

Ik heb daar 4 filmpjes van gemaakt en ga er vanaf nu elke zondag 1 plaatsen. De laatste is dan precies op halloween.

Het is niet mijn bedoeling om jullie te laten zien "hoe het moet" maar ik wil jullie gewoon laten zien hoe ik mijn kaartjes maak... misschien heb je er zelf wat aan... ik heb geprobeerd in elke kaartje een andere techniek te verwerken...
ben erg benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden!

I''ve made some halloweencards for the first time. I ordered some hero arts and Lawn Fawn stamps, and a digital stamp from C.C.design. I also ordered a halloweenpaperpack from Echopark.

I've made 4 video's with a halloweencard and a different technique each time.
It isn't meant to show you how it's done, I just want to show you all how I make my cards.
I put a video on my blog every sunday from now untill halloween!

basic Grey challenge 29

Dit kaartje maakte ik voor de nieuwe challenge van Basic Grey.De randjes, de vlinders en het designpapier in het midden heb ik flink versierd met stickles. De randjes van het paarse papiertje heb ik met de distresser bewerkt. Wat witte bloemetjes en groene pareltjes en mijn kaartje is precies geworden zoals ik het wilde.

This is the card I've made for the new challenge over at BasicGreyChallenges. The edges, butterflies and designpaper have some stickles on them. The edges of the purple paper are distressed.
I also added some white flowers and a lot of pearls.

DCL and Basic Grey challenges

2 challengeblogs die ik regelmatig bezoek hebben nu 2 van mijn favoriete dingen: basic grey papiertjes en een werkelijk prachtige sketch.
Toen ik deze sketch zag had ik direct een idee waarbij 3 kleine monstertjes ondeugend door de raampjes zouden gluren;)
Maar ik had niet de juiste copic kleuren om ze in te kleuren.... gelukkig was de challenge bij basic grey challenges om paperpiecing te gebruiken.... dus heb ik ze op basic grey papiertjes gestempeld, uitgeknipt en opgeplakt... de kleine bloempjes heb ik met een pons gemaakt met een klein hartvormig steentje in het midden.
De witte achtergrondjes zijn geembost met de cuttlebug.
Ook heb ik hier en daar nog wat stickles en diamond glaze gebruikt. Als laatst heb ik de monstertjes afgemaakt met grappige wiebeloogjes!

Deze kaart doet ook mee met de basic grey challenges designteam call. Ik ben echt helemaal gek op basicgrey papier en gebruik dit HEEL erg vaak. Ik doe ook vaak mee aan de challenges van basic grey... ik zou het echt helemaal fantastisch vinden om DTmember te worden!
Duimen dus maar!

2 challengeblogs combined 2 of my most favorite things... Basic Grey papers and a gorgeous sketch!!
When I saw the sketch over at DCL I immediately thought of 3 little monsters peeking trough..
But I didn't have the right copic markers to color them so they would match this funky paper from basic grey....
Lucky me: the challenge over at basic grey challenges is Paper Piecing... perfect for this card huh?
I made the monsters pretty in pink... lots of girly colors and glitters en gems because I thought it would be nice to use these stamps in a different way....
I add some shining details with diamond glaze and stickles... I punched out the little flowers and put little heartshaped gems in the middle...
I also added some funny googley eyes.
De white background is embossed with a cuttlebug embossingfolder.

I've also made this card for the designteamcall over at basicgreychallenges. I use the basicgrey items on a lot of cards.... I've a huge collection of 6x6 paperpads wich I use very often...
I also join the challenges there as much as I can... so I would be very honered to become a DTmember...
I keep my fingers crossed!
